PINUP SAINTS are an undeniable oddity of the music world. They create without the use of conventional routes, standards or barriers.
PINUP SAINTS has been performing since 2005 however their signature electropop sound was the result of a Montreal born songwriter/ producer discovering a New York singer/choreographer/musician at one of their shows. With Raul and Wynn coming together, "GOLDEN" was launched independently, under Manina Productions, in April 2009. They have just completed a Canadian tour as well as spot dates in New York City and were recently recognized at Canadian Music Week.
Their music has been compared to Yeah Yeah Yeahs meets Prince: Uninhibited lyrics and interesting harmonies meets great pop beats with a good dose of electronica. “We don’t really sound like anyone else. It’s something that we’ve invented” says Raul, lead singer and music producer of the Pinup Saints.
Their new song Helluva, sirens off like a drum and bass refrain yet still falling under the pop umbrella. A snappy tempo with a lyrical confidence burning through stringy melodies.
